Ordered a windshield yesterday and got a confirmation e-mail later in the day
and then an e-mail saying it was ready for pick up today.

Warehouse was less than 25 minutes away.
Drove there this morning and got it.

People were friendly and helpful. They cleaned it and let me inspect it and
I was out the door with the windshield in about 15 minutes.

That was quick and Painless......

Hey Rich, I just got around to seeing this now. Although I am not ready for the windshield yet, it would be good if you could hook me up with this person in Charlotte.

Im that person (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
When you are ready just place an order! (might help to also drop me a note)
Availability is usually next day, but in some cases I can transfer glass in from another (semi) local warehouse.

Pat Im afraid not. The logistics to create and maintain a DB of recommended installers around the country would be daunting & not cost effective considering the thin margin on the glass.
As I try to advise folks this is more of an DIY option. & honestly is not hard to do with a little patience if you are lucky. a 2nd set of hands.

I thought of making a install video but nixed the idea as fellow World member @IanKarr has already provided this resource (with far greater video & production value than I could muster (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) on YouTube HERE
