Aloha!

New 914 owner here! I'm trying to get a 1973 with a 1.7l back on the road. I'm taking everything apart and I noticed that the gasket (more over it looks like a big O ring) on the air cleaner housing is trashed. I need to replace it. Does any one have any idea on the size of that O ring/gasket? AA, 914Rubber, etc. don't seem to carry that piece but it's got to be some standard size o-ring.

TIA!

I think I cut a piece of rubber screen spline to fit. Don't remember what size.

You can find silicon and rubber cord of varying diameters from the grainger.com website that can probably be cut to length that will work. Grainger is an industrial supply company. I bought some silicon cord from them to replace the tail light lens gaskets on my 914.
