Been looking for the orig mfr (and hopefully their website if they still exist) of these for over 20 years. Any one know or can find out? The KL (or LK) logo is on these 4-12-14 pole connector housing covers (not the housing bases) and I think I have seen it on other 914 parts but not sure.

These bakelite/plastic connectors were made by Leopold Kostal Gmbh & Co. KG - hence the "LK".

Still in business

Double Wow. I had no idea that LK was so iconic in the automotive switch industry.

I checked a few other parts for the LK logo and found that our headlight switches are LK. Any other LK parts on our cars?

been asleep on the other side of the world.
looks like you got your answer real fast mr. b (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

------
for future symbol answers this book may help.
might not help with parts that are from porsche sources.
i dug it up when trying to work out what the H meant on throttle bodies.

somewhere its on the internet.
but don't have the link.
probably not hard to locate it again by punching in its title in google.
found some screen shots i had taken for EC-A/B research.

i'd have to go searching around in 1.8 engine bay now and see if there are any KLs lurking. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
