I am having a problem with my heater flapper controls. The flappers are in good order and move freely. We have adjusted the cables properly. But I suspect the cables in my car are not the correct heater flapper cables. I am looking for the proper cable part number for a 914-6, as I believe the 4 cylinder cables may be longer or just different.

When I push the lever all the way down to the floor, heat is still flowing into the cabin. Any suggestions or info re the correct cables?

Thanks everyone,
Michael (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

-6 cables are different length. I think 914Rubber shows reproduction available.

I sent Mark the measurements from my 914-6 heater cable a few years back so the 914Rubber offering should be correct. They were off the car for measuring.
