Actually, it's wonky too (it was from the factory). George had his reproductions made from an original mount. I have 2 of George's mounts and had the holes and weld nuts moved to align with the mounting holes in the OE battery tray. If you look closely in the pictures you will see where someone drilled and rethreaded one of the holes.

I too thought George's were tweaked until I bought the tray I just sold and determined that's how it came from the OE part maker.

I actually bought one of these from AA 2 weeks ago..
Haven’t bought anything from there in 15 years at least but
they were the only ones that listed the part.
I haven’t tried mounting it yet…???

/6 has the spigot for the in/out hose for the pump.
