Vin is 4732900651.. its a 1973.. Thats a really early 73. Is it an original 2.0? i am not sure yet, have to find where the stamp is on the block 2.0 manifolds connect with the cylinder head with 3 studs, 1.7 connects with 4 studs, fast and easy way to tell. |

Is it an original 2.0? i am not sure yet, have to find where the stamp is on the block All 73 2.0s would have had front and rear swaybars, while they were an option on 1.7s. Easy way to confirm it isnt a 2.0 would be the lack of a front swaybar. The first 1000 2.0 cars (which if this is a 2.0 it would be one of the first 1000) are somewhat unique. |

Nice.
Maryland is well in the old car Rust Belt. Do you know the usual places to look? Take pics! The history for your car will be the one you make with it. Unless the car came with a racing log book or a big pile of receipts you probably won't have much. Remember, these were trash cars to people until the last decade or so. Kinda like the 356, few people kept records until they started being worth something. They were just fun, inexpensive sports cars. Zach |

being that early it probably has vinyl on the windshield post and early model tube window regulators. would be a great find. How about some pictures?
