I have had 3 different upload errors in the last week.
One was max file limit reached, contact admins. didn't know if that was per thread, my account or something else.
Second was not able to upload this file type, it was a .webp file. I just downloaded it like I usually do and then tried to attach it to a thread.
Third was this one just now. The requested file upload failed because suitable permissions have not been enabled on the 'uploads' directory. Please contact the board administrator and inform them of this error.
Anyone else seeing these errors. Any help for these?

After the last or next to last update my MacBook Air wouldn't allow me to upload pics like I always had. Apple says they're working on it but in the meantime I I have to drop the pics I want to upload onto the desktop screen then upload them from there. It's an extra step nut works. It would be nice if our website was upgraded from the Flintstone ver1. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

Just got this one, only 1 file selected.

The total file space required to upload all the attached files is greater than your per post or global limit. Please reduce the number of attachments or the size of the attachments.

Any ideas???

Make the picture file smaller. Right click the image (computer) or long hold the image (device) and look at the file properties. There are apps that shrink image files for devices.

And/or donate? I seem to recall you get more space (or is it emails?) when you're a forum supporter.

Photos sizes have grown in correlation to the resolution of our devices. Most 800x600 or 1024x768 photos are fine for describing things here. I use a photo resizer for anything I post.

Your images are too big (in file size, not necessarily resolution).
Reduce the size. Start by reducing the DPI to 72 and save them as JPG with medium compression. That should get you small enough.

If the file size is still too big after that, reduce the resolution. There's no reason to go any bigger than 1920x1080 on here.

And .webp aren't supported by the forum software. .jpg work best.

I will look at all of that. The odd thing is that I am using the same phone, same pc and same process that I have always used. I'll check to see if something changed.
