that article is written by idiots, for idiots. I'm very pleased with the company the 914 finds itself with according to that list... some absolute legends.

Well said "by idiots, for idiots" Ugly and Porsche do not belong in the same sentence.

Disagree - they definitely called it correctly on the Panamera. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

you got a point.
all porsches have got some version of a fat german arse on them.
even 914s. where its kind of flattened but never the less ridiculously elongated.
or take the type 3 karmann ghia which you guys never officially got.
what an arse that car has got. goes on forever.
then there is the pastie. the old type 3 fast back.
back for sure. fast, i dunno? but its one hell of a backside.

its not a french model's arse. not breakfast at tiffiny's. just refer to their cars and what they were modelling. cigarettes with black coffee for breakfast there. refer to the citroen xantia.
very pert. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

i reckon the 928 perfected their vision of the perfect veeemale arse they were attempting to embody. its a bit like the ancient greeks and their idea of beauty? except they are germans (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

ugliness does not come into it. its a ridiculous parameter when discussing german cars.

The author was well informed… “ conjured a 911 Carrera 3.0, otherwise known as the 930.”

Fail.

Since I’ve already offended Jeffrey whom I hold in the highest regard, I might as well go nuclear.

Panamera’s long lost, uglier cousin?

Similarities:
Front engine, V8 - check
Water pumper - check
Four doors - check
Big caboose - check
Extremely rounded - check
Tip the scale above 4000 lbs - check

Just too rounded and bulbous for my taste but as always beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I’ll be the 1st to admit styling is often a love / hate dynamic. Better to evoke strong feelings one way or another than to be bland and easily forgettable.

You can’t offend me! BTW, you forgot to reference the Ford Crown Victoria, another modern classic! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

The last of the Crown Vics is a better looking car than the first of the Panameras.

The 986/996 has not aged well, either.
