On April 15, the Maverick Region of PCA was invited by Matthias Brzoska, a conductor at the University of North Texas to participate in a music/Performance art arrangement of "George Brecht's Motor Vehicle Sundown (1960)".
The performance is a bunch of Porsches, Plus a Police SUV and a Model T that are choreographed with sounds and movement. Myself, Betty, ScottThePhotog, and K.T. were there to represent 914s. There are only two other documented performances of this piece. One was from 1960, in Berlin in a rainstorm. The other was only 3 cars, and is very hard to see. So, for your enjoyment, "Motor Vehicle Sundown" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSwnj-fv_3g |
