Took 50 years of use and 10 years of searching, but finally replaced all the original carpeting with NOS OEM carpet.
Also got tired of little bits dropping through the heater lever slot, so worked up a carpet insert there, too.
The pieces behind the seats are in great shape, so kept them there.
