Here's a set of SSI heat exchangers, 1.7L & 1.8L style. No major dents and 100% usable. Early type with carbon steel exhaust flanges, I have media blasted the flanges and painted with high-temp paint. A couple of the holes where the warm air elbows attach have cracks. All flaws pictured. SOLD!

What's up with the round tubes at the exhaust port?
The SSIs I bought for my 75 1.8 are definitely oval. The ports are oval as well. Did some of the 914 heads have truly round ports? |

It must be the camera angle. The exhaust stubs are oval:
