Greetings all and thanks for providing such a valuable resource here. I've been finding most of my answers but I can't find this one. As I noticed that the rear wheel bearing was the same as my front 996 part it occurred to me that other parts might match as well. I tried a 996 CV and sure enough it bolts right up to the 108mm flanges that I plan to use and the Sway-away axle slides right in. Since the 996 had 295 HP from the factory I'm assuming the power won't be an issue so if I can find the right size boots is there any reason not to use them. They are much narrower than the early 108 CVs but attractive because of availability and cost. Thoughts?
