Still have this on the shelf from over 50yrs ago. I was big into Type 3 back then.
Lots of nice wiring diagrams and pinouts.

Did the -4 ever come with chrome hubcaps that had a VW emblem on them? Second page of the manual has a picture that shows the wheels better. Definately -4 steelies and hubcaps, and a very visible VW logo on it. Also curious about the reflection on them...

Thinking about it more, this must be a Euro car, there are no side markers and front lenses are red/white.
But, the picture on the cover has a hood badge! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif)
Maybe some artistic license.
