I'm sure it's buried somewhere in the 914 forums somewhere, but I can't find it.

Once upon a time I read that there are ?three? different types of struts available for the 914 that have different diameters inserts.

I want to say there is Boge, Bilstein and Koni?

One of these types is "universal" while the others can only accept inserts for their type.

Am I out to lunch here or???

If not, can someone point me at the part numbers I should be looking for?

Thanks!

That is what you are most likely referring to.

Killer "how to" for 911 struts/5 lug into a 914.

I'm not certain of the differences in stock 914 equipment and am looking forward to what folks say about the stock stuff.

In the 911 world the Boge stuff tends to the "universal" ones.

Great article! This is exactly what I needed to see.

Now off to the garage to dig out the front end parts I've collected for my conversion!
