This seems a lot more fun than grinding crusty rust. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
Small tasks that have a short ending. On to the next one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks y'all!

Quick Update: I started work on the aluminum trim last night. What a mess. Got the sticky stuff off and now have black and red paint to remove. I like how the PO just kept spraying it on - first black then red. Nice! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Pic shows the paint removed and the use of 150-grit on the first piece. Got a long way to go before these will be ready.

You're doing what I should have done to mine after paint. that wing support piece can get scratched up over time. Mind did. Wish I would have spent the time to polish it up before putting it back in the door.

I wish I had done the same on my other build, as well. Luckily, so little is actually seen of the aluminum trim. I only really need to clean-up/polish the outside edges. I just double checked my other car last night. The interior trim hides it all.
