Hello,
Anyone out there know a source for touch up paint?

L80E
Light ivory

Some p.o. bozo put a hole in my right door to mount some funky aftermarket mirrors. Switched to stock, but now there's an extra hole where the old mounting plate from the other mirror lived.

Geez

Checked out a couple rattle can colors but they just don't match.

I bought touch up paint here bc they have Ravenna green. Perfect match.

Check and see if they have your color:

BTW when I searched under Porsche for my color (L65K, ravenna green) and year ('73) there was no match. However, when I searched under VW for that year it did come up.

For sh!ts and giggles, I did the same for you ... same thing, your color does not come up under Porsche, but it does come up under VW. You can also use the search bar at the top of their home page and search your paint code L80E it will come up that way as well.

Here are their products that appear via the search bar results for L80E:

I used TouchupDirect for my Mexi-Bug, spot on match from factory VW color code.

I didn't have the nerve to tell you it didn't come up in my search, only a reddish color. I didn't think to look under Vdub!

Great idea! makes perfect sense.

Thanks so much.

Found it and ordered. Went with the brunch and clear coat combo.

Thanks for making it easy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

I've used https://www.automotivetouchup.com/ with awesome match results.

You can purchase any color in any quantity. The Zambezi Green was spot on.
