Recently a moderator closed a thread discussing the delivery of Korijo's van. The thread was closed not because of a flame war, or because of ad hominem attacks, or even because the thread treated others on the board in a disrespectful manner. The thread was closed because a flame war "might have started." This is a poor reason to shut down speech.
Grown adults should have the right to be able to participate in a respectful debate. I think we can handle it. Douglas |
