So I am guessing the most threads by subject over time are wheel and tire threads. Certainly lately for sure. Mine is a little bit different.
I have 2 914s and they are completely different. Both are fun to drive, but different. One is slightly larger than stock 15 in tires on 4 lug wheels. The other is larger than stock tires on 16 in wheels and 5 lug. The question; is there a sweet spot where quick handling gives way to traction in wheel and tire combos and the characteristics are different? Is this just personal preference? I get the racing issue, leaving that out for now. Was factory the best set up? Is the quest for rubber on the road for a street car over rated? |
