A question for the experts.... I am stuck on the single black wire circled in the attached photo. It is located beneath the dash on the driver's side near the fuse panel and near the switch and gauge wiring. I think I have sorted out the gauge, switch and relay wiring but I am not sure about this wire. Behing the black wire sheath are twin brown leads that do not connect to ground. I do not see them in the wiring diagram, and I can't trace them to the fuse box. Any ideas what these are?

Tom,

This is our harness correct?

Very likely that those brown wires are the interior door light switch.

The red wires run to the power post. We can send photos if you need.

Thanks Pete for chiming in. I think I’m all sorted on both wires now. I have to say that the quality of the workmanship in the harness I bought from you and the detailed wiring diagram along with your YouTube video made the installation pretty straightforward.
