One of my garage roomies just finished tinted to color code Rino liner on the underside of his Shiro restoration. Think I will do this when my car gets painted this winter. Attached Image

Z31 Shiro?

That looks nice!

I see Z31s as organ doners for real Z cars.

S30s...

The rear end in that is a viscous coupling R200 LSD unit with special axles. No-one wants them.

88-89 Z31 turbo automatics came with a clutch plate LSD with a 3.7 ratio.

Wakes an early Z right up!

Bolts right in, you cannot use the finned rear housing in an early Z.

Those diffs are solid gold on the Z forums.

A Shiro or an Anniversary is the only Z31 worth restoring IMO.

Shiro's had the very best seats of any previous Z car.

@technicalninja Recaro seats. 4 of 1002 are in our garage. 2 are consecutive waiting their turn, one donor, and this one inching it's way to the road again.

That's way cool!

The VG30 is good for 500hp with proper mods.

Sadly, a Shiro or Anniversary needs to stay stock for ultimate value.

I once had a nice 84 Anniversary.

It had the "body-sonic" seat vibrators in it...

Truely weird!

I let it go to another enthusiast.

Wish I had kept it now.

I did my 72 with tinted Rhino. A lot of work to prep all the surfaces. Looks
Nice and it supposed to help a little with noise. I also did my Targa top with tintable Rhino.
