Hello guys,
I am building a car with all '74 2.0 injection parts, except the ignition harness that looks to be a 70-71 1.7 ignition harness. I think it is a 1.7's because it has a heater ground terminal that we don't see on the 2.0's harness. The car stars and runs. But is there any problems if I continue using it with other 2.0 injection components? I may be wrong but the 1.7's positive wire to the ignition coil looks to be thinner than the 2.0's positive wire. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!! kkid (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

It'll work. The big issue is the two circuits for the heater are not in the correct location for a '74 chassis, so no heater fan without reworking the harness.
