If it’s a real one, it all comes apart so you can line up the logo. If someone put a new leather pad on it, there might be adjustments needed. Make sure it’s not just a matter of turning it enough on the wheel for it to lock in place.
That wheel is sort of a mess so who knows what was done to it.
