51 years ago I bought my 1 and only 914..

Seems like a lifetime ago.. Lot of other cars have come and gone..
But the 914 is still here..

We were both a lot younger

Noticed the blue MGB in the pic. Had a Jr College friend that had a Silver 72 in the late 70's. I had a 68 BGT. Brings back memories of great times.

Thx

I’ve only had mine for 42 years but I still have it. It was a 10 year old used car.

I bought mine in ‘98, insurance took it after the engine caught fire, and bought it back from the guy who bought it at auction 4 years later. Been sitting since, but plan on getting back on it VERY soon!

Glad to see people who’ve held in to theirs!

Very cool. Longest I have owned any vehicle is 23 years. But it's still in the family, under my son's name for the past year.
