I have a Kennedy Stage 2 Pressure plate with a stock 215mm clutch disc and it's not holding my turbo engine. I'm guessing around 250hp but maybe a bit more.

Has anyone used a more aggressive disc to get a bit more holding power? There are a lot of options out there so I'm hoping to get a bit of guidance so I don't just spend money willy nilly.

Thanks.

I have a Clutch Masters kevlar sport disc that was added to my Kennedy eng swap kit back in the day. If they are still around talk to them. Good for 315+ hp iirc as a combo.

Does Kennedy have a Stage 3?

Yes, they do.

I had a similar issue as described above with my KEP setup so i emailed them with the specs of my engine and they send me a (custom?) setup that wasn't listed on their website that has more than enough clamping force for the torque of my engine.

Thanks for the tips.
I'll call them today. I like the feel of the stage 2 pressure plate so if there is a disc that can get me there that would be awesome.

Are you confident your disk/plate are in good shape and cable adjustments correct? I had their stage 2 with my 901 and close to 300 HP/fl-lb torque at the wheels and clutch always felt good.
