No, it looks custom.
And the Studebaker pickup looks custom too. All things considered, the truck looks better IMHO. |

sort of seen it before.
numerous 80s customization improvements to 914s similar. designed to remove its character? - namely the super skinny twiggy versions of 911 lard arse headlight fenders that 914s had - as if they were in the family. all such "improvements" succeeded in a) removing the unique character of the hyper functional moonshot era styling of the 914. b) establishing it could all to easily be made into a bland 80s generic update. i'm all for the black sheep and its fabulous unique hyper functional weirdo original german styling. far as i am concerned the 914 is imbued with the spirit of the me 163. and needs not to look like the mercury capri (aus built that is in the 90s) or the mazda miata/mx5. |

Yeah, slant nose 914s were a thing that got popular in the 80s and 90s while the 914 was still considered a trash car. made the car look more "modern" in profile. Same with he slant nose 911 conversions popular at the same time. These days a lot of the slant nosed cars have either not survived, or been converted back with "new" fenders. There are still a bunch out there though. I think the car Emory had at NEG over the weekend was a slant nose Chalon kit.

The angle of that nose has got to produce more lift at high speeds. Not a fan.

Notice the A-pillars. Are they vinyl? Could be a good deal if it's driveable. Hard to tell without seeing the rust.
