Salutations! Hopefully this isn't too large in scope for a first post...

Alright, so I had an idea working on my 914 the other day: Wouldn't it be nice if I had a CAD model showing how things go together? After some looking around I found some aesthetic cad models but very little that was super practical. Well, if you want something done right...

https://github.com/TK0130/Open-914/

1) My plan is to slowly create a full cad model of the 914 in order to assist with the preservation of such a fun vehicle. I plan to attempt to monetize this via donations/sale of replacement parts. Once I recoup my time's value I will gladly upload CAD along with full mechanical drawings and BOMs. (Honestly, the sale of a single part will pay for multiple parts worth of CAD design for what my time is worth...)

Here is where you all come in:
1. What parts do you want to be able to replace? Since it is cold out right now I am starting with stuff I can bring inside. (Mostly interior of the car. Need to gut it anyway for rust repair and I figure this documents the process really well so I know how to put it back together.)
2. What open source license would the community prefer?
3. Do you all hate the idea of monetizing the process? (Just out of college and SO would love if this project paid for some of the expenses (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )
4. Does anyone have any CAD models of individual parts they want to donate to the cause? (Only stuff you have designed yourself, I want the author's permission.)
5. Any further thoughts or suggestions?

Changes that may typically be made from original parts:
Rust resistant components will be substituted in specs when it makes sense to do so. (The 914 doesn't need any help here...)
Modern plastics will be substituted. I will make CAD models based on original parts, but I will likely end up making variants designed for 3D printing as I use it a TON.
Rivets will be replaced with screws where it makes sense. (We don't care about a few dollars in fasteners, do we?)
mcmaster-carr will be used for standard fasteners.

If I make major changes to a part in order to make it better for my personal vehicle, I will put it in a different directory.

2) Cost: Varies
3) Shipping: I can do international via ebay.
4) If you have a web-site, provide a link. if not, post pictures of your product here: See github link.
5) Lynchburg VA
6) Your contact information: Please use forum email option or ebay messaging. (Not opposed to giving out contact info, but I don't want it scraped by a bot.)
