Okteenerfest is held in Townsend, TN – the peaceful side of the Smokies. With a location bordering Great Smoky Mountains National Park and within a 30 minute drive along the wonderful Foothills Parkway to the world-famous Dragon and its 318 curves in 11 miles, the mountain roads in the area are some of the best in the southeast.

HEY, BUB!
This year we will be recognizing 50 years of the 1975-1976 model years and their distinct “rubber bumpers” often referred to as BUBs. Is that “Big Ugly Bumpers” or… “Beautiful Unique Bumpers” (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

THURSDAY – The fun begins with event check-in. Meet up with 914 friends new and old to catch up on what’s been going on throughout the past year. Optional “Sunset Drive” to view the sun setting over the Smokies.

FRIDAY – The “main event” – a drive on the area’s fantastic mountain roads. With planned rest and lunch stops along the way, the daylong drive will feature challenging mountain roads and amazing scenery.

SATURDAY – Marvel at the “rainbow of colors” at the Car Show. Find that much needed part at the Swap Meet (or sell some of your junk stuff). Attend a Tech Session or two. Go for a drive. Take a nap. Feast at the awards banquet. It’s a day filled with activities!

SUNDAY – Revel in the sounds and smells of dozens of 914s firing up to hit the road for home.


What more could you ask for? Join other 914 owners for some fantastic driving, plenty of socializing, and a bit of showing off in a unique setting that you won’t want to miss.

43 non-smoking rooms have been reserved for our group. The room rate is $149.50 per night, plus tax (14.75%).
Rooms have a refrigerator and microwave, iron, ironing board, and a hair dryer.
A complimentary Continental Breakfast is served each morning starting at 8:00 am.
Our room block will be held until August 15, 2025. After that date, any remaining rooms will be available to the public.

Tried to register and got error message that something went wrong.

Edit. The problem is that the qty field for number of registrations is barely on the edge of the screen. It did work once I found it. The error message only showed half of message as the right side was off the screen.

Yeah... I remember a similar issue last year for small screen devices.

Tom - If you are getting the Pitt crew together and want to stay in a cabin, I did a ton of research on that for last year. LMK and I can give you a few ideas.

Maybe we hit it on a bad day. All the other restraunts were great. In any case not giving them a 2nd chance.
