Got the mirror today. It's slightly convex, but you can see a difference in view angle. Unfortunatelly I ordered the wrong size. I got an early mirror and need a late one. If you pay for shipping you can have the early convex mirror for free.

If no one takes you up on it first, I can use the early style. My '70 mirror glass getting a bit foggy.

I worked as a glazier for many years. Tempered is pretty much fixed at whatever size it is when tempered. But raw glass can be drilled, sanded, ground into shapes and polished. A full service glazing shop, not a we can cut a piece of glass to fit your picture frame kind of shop, could take a convex mirror from a car that has a close size and fit it to your mirror housing. It probably won’t be cheap, and you may have to look for a good glazier that doesn’t mind the bother. I never did it because My mirrors vibrate like a mofo and can’t see anyway. I was a swivel head.
