Posting this for a buddy of mine; located in north Ga. This is a very nice '73 1.7 that needs a little love; body and hell hole are in great shape. Suffered an engine fire due to dry rotted injector elbow years ago. Engine bay repainted. 1.7 installed but needs work (missing 4 injectors). Wire harness to the tail lights need work. Needs new fuel lines, pump and filter. If you're looking for a project that doesn't include replacing a bunch of Sheetmetal this is it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

This is what the seller said:

1973 914 1.7 Project is a Good straight car & not Rusty and has no previous wreck damage. I had found this car for my brother who has passed away. VIN # 4732921550 with 76185 original miles. We has purchased this car from a Air Force captain in Norfolk and he was very particular about the car. The car had a fuel injector fire and the only component replaced was the engine decklid only and the top had a little damage and we have purchased another one for it. The engine bay has been repainted due to the fire damage. I replaced the engine and transmission with a known good driveline from another 1973 914 and the driveline needs the finish the install and replacement of the fuel lines through the tunnel as they were very brittle from age and are cracking. I have the original matching motor and it goes with the car also. Many good things about this car. Original interior with original dash that is not cracked and seats that are not split. Carpet is still good even at the door thresholds. Original radio. Original steering wheel with good leather. The car shows of no previous repairs or crash damage of any kind. The car is not rusty and the hellhole is all original with no replacement of any of the battery tray. Jack points and front pan are solid. The car was ordered with all five alloy wheels and they are original to the car. I have the original owners manuals and quite a few service records and shown is the Porsche service records book where the dealer stamps the service records where the previous owner recorded hand written service records showing the mileage indicating that the miles shown are truly the original miles. I have had the car six years now in inside storage and have realized I do not have the time to finish the restoration as I constantly have 20 or more customer Porsche transmissions to rebuild. I am also selling a collection of 914-6 parts, original oil tank, engine tin, and five lug rear hubs that would be extra and not included with the car. I have many more pictures and can provide them on request. 13k ??? obo Very Open to Offers; lots of pics available.

Thanks for looking, Todd
