SirAndy sorta influenced me into doing the GT flares with talk of cheap and plentiful barely used slicks being available....how true is this?

I've done a few google searches and come up empty (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif)

Berget Tire, call John Berget at (262) 740-0180

He has decent prices on take offs and qualifying tires.

Go to any HSR race or an SCCA race and talk to the tire man. He will probably let you look through the take offs and take your pick. I ususally pick up at least 2+ tires at the events I go to.

I bought tires from John for years and finally decided that since I was using about 2 sets of tires a year I would just get new ones every Jan at the HSR race in Phoenix. There is something really nice about driving out on a new set of soft Goodyears!

Post here: Production Website

and find someone near you. I've used take-offs most of this year for $100/set.
