So the San Fran job maybe off the books. Waiting to hear back. If thats the case I have one in Ukiah and then head to riverside area but the 2 jobs I have lined up will not pencil out for 2 cars and 8 hour drive time so I need to find a few more by Bruces place to make this work.

Hey Ben, how about you stop in Vegas and do my flares. It's halfway between Your Utah (not sure where in Utah but you mentioned 8 hours to Riverside) and your Riverside job.

The Utah job is on hold the ukiah California job is a go then riverside . The San Francisco job is MIA for the moment. Vegas could be another trip but again you would be on for airfare and lodging. Approximately 3.5 days

Looks like the red barn is my first stop on this adventure. Should be fun. There maybe an opportunity at the end of the trip for a welding workshop. Bruce and I are working out details.

Wes' flares have arrived At The Red Barn! Looking forward to hosting @mb911 Ben for this effort. I'll post details as we get closer to the date but wanted to let the locals know there will be a gathering of some sort so keep that in mind when planning your weekend of April 25-26. I always forget to tag someone so feel free to spread the word.

I have done 20 plus sets now and have it down to an efficiency that allows for a good price . What I am offering is I drive to you you pay trip time and hotel/lodging if needed. Cost to TIG weld the flares on is $3200. I will get them welded (butt joint) and TIG them on and do basic grinding but nothing crazy as the body shops like to do final grind and hammer etc. This takes 1.5-2 days to complete. I just did a set a few weeks back and it took 1 long day and half to wrap up. If anyone is wanting this done or talk about it let me know.

What are the chances that you will be in Texas?? specifically Austin? I am looking at adding flares to my project, still not close to adding fender flares, have to repair the rust first but definitely wanted to add those to mine!

Well boarding my flight for California shortly. I will post pictures if owner approved. First job is 4 flares, inner long kit, and some minor rust repair.

The spring trip may include a welding class for interested folks for a small fee. Think Dr evil’s clinics

It’d be great to see some ‘how to’ videos come out of these pending adventures. Great for us that is. And, Ian has been quiet from posting videos lately…working on the six I’m sure. But wouldn’t that be a great combo! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif)
