Like where in fuel line system on the car are people usually mounting their fuel pressure regulator? After the long tunnel line and before the one that curves up below the battery? I have the stainless lines if that changes anything

The 914-6 fuel system does not have a regulator. The carbs operate at a much lower pressure than fuel injection systems of the 914-4.

Have one on mine. Right before the above pictured fuel line and a gauge just before the driver side carb

Not aware of the clips and will look into them. Any photos handy illustrating where they are located on the body would be appreciated- Thanks! I bought used VW clips off Samba and they were identical. If you get in a jam, let me know I can 3D print serviceable ones. ![]() I have some coming in the mail from some VW place in SoCal, if they end up not working I will message you for the printed ones. Thank you! |
