I'm surprised they let you do that, especially in CA. That's always my dread if I had to have the 914 'towed'. (especially post-COVID). They would leave me standing beside the road and say to call an UBER.

Had to flatbed my 2017 991 (destroyed rear tire). My wife and I rode in the truck cab, first to the tow company HQ and then to the nearest town where we could get a tire.

Rode in the cab, two adults and two dogs, Audi on the bed with a screaming, gushing water pump. Nursed it 100 miles to get within 100 miles from home. Dead of winter, Vt.to NJ. |

 New fuel pump is in and everything is back together. Took it for a nice drive down some twisty roads today |
