My thoughts on your question is that most of the automotive buying public doesn't know what the ratio means or feels like. I'd add to your list The Cayman GTS 1:8.5 or maybe or the 3.4 S version of the Cayman either the 987.1 or .2. For the money especially the S version of the Cayman....quite a ride. The Cayman, in my opinion one of the best production cars Porsche ever built. Edit: Supposed I'm biased given my avatar.....but seat of the pants justification. |

My 914 weighs 2050 wet and had 325 hp with open exhaust (290 at the wheels and 15% driveline loss yields about 325) for 6.3 lbs/hp. Now with mufflers I'm guessing about 40 hp loss so should be close to 7.1 lbs/hp.
It's still pretty quick. |
