Jeff,

My thoughts on your question is that most of the automotive buying public doesn't know what the ratio means or feels like.

I'd add to your list

The Cayman GTS 1:8.5 or maybe or the 3.4 S version of the Cayman either the 987.1 or .2. For the money especially the S version of the Cayman....quite a ride.

The Cayman, in my opinion one of the best production cars Porsche ever built.

My 914 weighs 2050 wet and had 325 hp with open exhaust (290 at the wheels and 15% driveline loss yields about 325) for 6.3 lbs/hp. Now with mufflers I'm guessing about 40 hp loss so should be close to 7.1 lbs/hp.

It's still pretty quick.
