I have my 914/SBC project going and having a great time driving it.
The SBC came with everything to adapt and install it into the 914 so i went that direction to see how I would like the driving this car. I come from the off road world and would never chose a cast iron SBC to power a sand car. I have used a Honda J35 V-6 and an LS-3 with great results. I am considering re-powering this 914 with the Honda V-6 and could not find much when googling. Is there a reason the Honda V-6 is not being used more often? I refer to the Honda as a poor mans LS that has adequate power and less weight. Thanks for your consideration Highroad2 |
