Congrats of your new 914 purchase. You’re going to have fun with it. Just don’t try to lay rubber off the line or the CVs can or will pop. I did mine in getting goofy at a stop light and I only had a 283 with cam an 8s and 11s with P7s. You are in the valley, and we do go for runs near your home. Lots of knowledge here on V8 conversions

Picture of 930 trans that was set up, flipped with LSD and oil cooling for trans. Bult by Gbox one of the country’s top Porsche trans builders. I bought it from Army Dude on 914World in 2008. It came with a car and I pulled the trans and no one wanted the body (a nice west coast example for free) lots of changes over the years.

I was told that 930CVs could handle more severe angles

I'm normally not a big fan of rear spoilers on 914's, but that 914 is begging for a big back spoiler!
