Wow. Glad you’re okay Curt.

And appreciate everyone’s advice including on the Heart CT.

Best - Joe

I'm glad you pulled through. Scary stuff. I want to thank you for posting this. I can guarantee that you've saved at least one life, whether one of us on the forum or someone we will talk to about it, by TALKING ABOUT IT.

I survived testicular cancer because someone in the mists of time said something about it and it stuck with me. I came uncomfortably close to just ignoring it.

Godspeed and I hope you're back to 100% real soon!

Thanks guys. The difference is amazing and almost instantaneous. I went from no energy, and complete lack of motivation, to abundant energy and being able to complete simple daily tasks with no problems. I avoided doing things cause I knew I could not complete them. The symptoms are there months before it causes any pain..

The left photo is the before shot. You can see the pinched off place in the artery compared to the after pic on the right. The differently shaded areas at the bottom left of each photo shows the increased blood in the chambers. The little circles you see are the wires holding the sternum together from my 20 year old bypass surgery. You can actually see the end of the wires twisted together. At 76, I doubt I could go thru open heart surgery again. The small pencil looking line is the catheter.

Worked in the Cath Lab for 25 years, one of the greatest rewards is to see someone come in literally dying and watch them walk out the door the next day feeling great!

glad you got that taken care of. A month ago, I went to the ER with bad case of heart burn and sweating like a hooker in church. Spent a few days in the hospital getting a full cardio workup. Thankfully everything went well. They didn't find anything wrong, a little buildup in the LAD, but nothing close to needing a sent.

So now I have a heart DR in my rotation of doctors. No real explanation why I was feeling the way I was, maybe stress or panic attack?? I'll be 60 at the end of this year, which will help raise my family average for men. Most in my dad's generation passed in their mid to late 50's with heart issues.

Made some big diet changes and have dropped close to 10lbs in little over a month with more to lose.

So very happy that you went in and got everything taken care of. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) (that's not beer in those glasses; it's water just splashing around) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Got to beat getting an old rusty/crappy/nasty 914 running again.

This thing called life is a very fragile thing
