I have seen these in a few TV shows recently on a high end VW build and an expensive resto 356. Does anyone run these on a 914? Any idea what they fit and how to get them?

I looked on this site and did not find them. I will email them later.

If you're not using a rain tray, rain will get into your carbs with these.
Not sure they'd fit under the rain tray ???

I'll keep this updated for future reference.
Looks like these are Ram Flo by Lynx in Australia.
I stumbled onto that by accident.
They don't use velocity stacks which is interesting. I have always had an issue with the stack being closely covered by a filter top with not much of an air gap.

Maybe @wonkipop can chime in.

I would like to see air flow numbers to see how much they restrict air flow with that thick pattern

There is a gap between the engine hood and trunk lid that will allow some rain to go directly into the carbs. For that reason I put rain hats on my carbs.

i don't know anything about them NARP.
but i don't hang out much with the hotted bug crowd which is where i suspect more than a few are fitted. bug engine bays stay pretty dry and free of dust so probably work well for them (unless the lid is shot through with custom extra louvres (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ).

i see the mob who make them are in my city. down south of the CBD on the bayside.

Sort of funny no one is interested in how efficiently it filters (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

Rabbit hole open

Lots of opinions on how well they work. Generally not great at keeping things out of the engine and most empirically-derived data says they hurt power. I was going to head this direction but have standard style filters and fiberglass shields over open stacks to choose from instead. They are interesting but many who have researched actual flows say that it really is a poor choice overall. Looks super cool though
