I will sell the Konig seat to you for $650 plus packing and shipping. My guess that will be around $150 to Delaware.

I understand the material changed in 1971

73 914s had two bucket seats.

This may have been removed from a 73 but was not originally from a 73.

I did not know that, you are correct, so yes the car that this came out of was a 1973.
It seems that this must have been originally from a 1970 or 1971 car.

Got the seat. Looks good. I think $50 for “supplies” was a bit excessive for two large Home Depot boxes but maybe the packing tape and plastic bag took the other $40.

It could not find a single box that would work. So I had to use two boxes. I spent more than two hours to find the box system, packing the seat and bringing it to Fedex.
So I think $50 was very inexpensive, 10 times less per hour than I make at my day job.
