Try your local JDM's, eBay or copart. The good thing about copart is you can search for and buy a wrecked but running car. This way you know what shape and how many miles are on the engine. If you go with the 4 banger you can get your engine and transmission from a single car. If you go with a 6 then you will need to source a transmission and clutch separately as all American 6 cylinders came with automatics. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Best of luck acquiring a motor. The only big issue I know with the EJ25T's (EJ257) out of the STI are the ringland issues aside from typical head gaskets of Subarus.
