How much rust?

Does it run?

Condition of interior?

Cost of license if it does not run? (how long out of license)?

How much?

That looks like it will take a lot of work, what skills do you have? Battery tray for sure, and from the looks of the damage to the tray we can assume some patching will be required on the long as well. Funky interior, you'll need some misc parts to get it "whole". That single carb is going to be fun dealing with also.

Lastly, look at the source - the car was at a mechanic which obviously had problems that were probably too expensive for that PO to have done. What I mean is that is going to need some work!

I looked at that car about 6 months ago, he wanted $850 for it then. I thought it to worth less than $300

It would be a good car to repair, but you have to be ready for that. If you were to get the car for $300 as Joe said, you could recoup about that much in parts and it will take you a while - so getting it for parts is not putting money in your pocket. If you mean a parts car to support another car you might purchase - wait and get that car first before you decide you need a big hunk of steel wasting space in your driveway.

It appears his ISP cut his cajones off.....maybe he needs to spend the money there to get them back. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
