Replacing my front shocks. I’m not sure how to remove the metal retaining ring/nut from current shock? Did a quick search, but I don’t see any slots, threads or something visible to grab for the removal? Looks press fit? I’ve attached pics, thanks for help!Attached Image Attached Image

Aside from the (911) mono-tube inserts, does anyone know where you can source small parts for this style housing?
I need the oil seals & at lease one of the rubber bump stops.
Oh & new roll pins

The bilsteins came in a couple different versions. Mine are green tops, these seals in the pic are elephants. I can see no numbers in your pic and I do not know at a glance if your seals are factory, which would make them early or someone else’s seals and they could be the later bils. I put a link to elephant racing, pretty sure you can get what you need there.

It's been a while but I recall that there are two different styles of the seal caps for Bilsteins, the regular one and an RSR style one that is smaller profile and allows for more shock travel. When I replace mine, Elephant had both styles.

Thanks that does look like an option If the /4 strut housings are considered "late" per their website.
To be clear they are only offering a non OE version of the Oil seal. I guess Ill have to call to see if they can help with the other little items.

Pretty terrific that you have the bilstein suspension package on your 914, very few were ordered with it, we sell about twenty strut replacements per year for that setup
