This transaxle has been in the Alien since 2003. Rebuilt by Brad Mayer. It has an HB 5th gear and a billet intermediate plate.

Full disclosure: The large nut on the main shaft backed off some how and was bouncing off the ring & pinion gears. I discovered it in time. The only damage was some dings on the gears. I cleaned them up with a die grinder and ran this unit hard behind the Euro Spec "S" 928 engine for 22 years.

This will not bolt into your car. The bellhousing has been cut off to allow it to mate up to the 928 engine. This is a parts transaxle only. I am selling it for the HB 5th gear and the billet intermediate plate and anything else you want to scavenge from it.

Intermediate plates are actually available at a few places. Patrick Motorsports machines their own, CMS has one, and other places as mentioned above. They are typically ~$400-550.

Good deal, GLWTS.

I think I paid 350.00 for the HB gear. So that's like 850.00 in 2 parts. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) Add in the other gears and synchros and it's not too bad. This unit shifted fine. Make an offer if you can use the parts
