Hi… I have a 74 2.0 D jet and was wondering about the routing between#2 and#4 positions. Is this hose supported some how?A picture would be appreciated. T.I.A. Dennis

I don't have my '74 2.0 here at my house this morning, so I don't know how much help this is for you, but on my '75 1.8 that hose has a metal tab holding it in place at the #2 cylinder (picture attached). It also attaches to the cold start valve mid run, so that is different than the 2.0. I'll post a picture of the 2.0 if I get over to it today. I'll be over at my second garage tomorrow for sure.

Here's a link to the 2.0 fuel hose diagram on Jeff's website:

You may find the diagram of the fuel hose layout for the 1.8 helpful as well:

Thanks for that… I believe all connections to be correct but just want to be sure I’m not putting this length in a fire risk situation. Dennis

How old is that line? I've had them blow out on me.

Nope not really. Indeed there are securing tabs on the intake runners, but in general it just drapes over the top of the case & in between the AAR & thermotime switch
