Is there actually anything different about the shift rod itself over a standard one. or is the mounting plate the only difference from a stock set up?

My Weltmeister (side shifter) is longer than stock beneath the pivot point.
Mine came with a thick aluminum spacer to move the shifter plate up to keep the lever from hitting the floor pan. This add shows the aluminum spacer... |

YesNon chromed rod the rod length above the fulcrum is shorter, below longer Spacer to correct for dimension change in the tunnel Exact same mounting, bolt in NLA for the side shift (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |
