I am looking for a front trunk bulkhead seal in good condition. I tied one of the repros but it makes closing the trunk feel weird.

I updated my seal with one from 914 Rubber and it worked pretty much flawlessly. Is your seal pushed all the way down on the little lip? Do you have it installed the right way? If I remember correctly the 'lip' is offset.

When you say 'closing the trunk felt weird' - what do you mean? like... you can feel the trunk hitting the seal? Or does it feel weird like when you used to have to climb the rope in gym class? (Wayne's World reference... ignore me.)
