Still $4.50 a gallon around here (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) the republic of Kalifornia
is good for that kind of pricing.

fair bit cheaper than it is down here at bottom of world.
$2.00 aud per litre = $5.23 usd per us gallon. (premium 98 RON).
91 RON runs about 10% cheaper.

xmas holiday and the january summer vacation coming up.
if its anything like last year i expect fuel to hit 2.20-2.30 aud per litre about 1 week from now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Yeah, well, it’s around CHF 1.80 per liter for 98 here, which is a bit north of $8.50 per gallon… just filled up the ‘teener and it was around $100. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Supply and demand I guess? Or local cost of living? I never understood exactly the dynamics behind the wide variance in cost of fuel based on geography. You would think it would cost more to get the fuel out to the remote locations, yet places like Fillmore Utah someone have gas at @2.15 as of yesterday

At least you have the weather. I have to pack my fun cars away for 5-6 months out of the year.

Has very little to do with supply and demand, and except for very remote locations, not much to do with delivery costs either. What is has to do is with state and local taxes and and unofficial price-fixing to "whatever the market will bear".

Nor-Cal with a Sam's Club membership I was pleasantly surprised that 91 octane tipped under the $4.00 mark the other day.
