Hey everyone,
First time 914 owner,, my first post. For the last few months I have been going through the car bit by bit, hose by hose, line by line, seal by seal, etc. Making it a good, almost daily driver.

I'm finally getting to a point to do some fun upgrades, and as you all know there are little to no options for an out of the box exhaust upgrade for 75-76 models because of the emission controls and the lame heater exchangers. Without replacing the heat exchangers, which were not in my budget. Searching the forums on here and google. I took a drawing down to my local muffler shop and we came up with this. Dual in and Dual out Magnaflow x-pipe. It be painting them shortly and I'll take some better photos, but I picked up it today and came straight to work.

Sound is AMAZING! Its no quiet, but just a hair above ideal for older to middle aged LOL but definitely the sound i was looking for. $650 out the door. Looks better and sounds WAY better than the bulky Bursch I had on it.

Thanks everyone who shares their wealth of knowledge on here. It is greatly appreciated. Attached Image

I had my Bursh exhaust ceramic coated in a dark gray. Still looks good after 5 years.

This is from 2011. The internal baffles will blow out over time and then the exhaust sounds REALLY good.
