Great idea.

Error (502): {"detail":"Backend data source error. Please try again later."}

502 errors happen when servers can't talk to each other properly. Simple fixes like reloading the page or clearing your browser data often work. For bigger problems, you should check server logs.

I just got the same error when I tried asking:
"Can the pushrod tubes and pushrods be replaced with motor in the car ?"

I had a 76 2.0 and a shop notched the inner ear suspension mount drivers side to get the tube out.... Was Not Impressed.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Given the propensity to return incorrect answers and lukewarm reception, I didn't keep the backend service active. It is not a free experiment for me!

It is back online now.

@DennisV
As someone that works with AI systems on a daily basis the biggest difference is that when you ask us a question here in the Garage you may also get wrong answers but the peer review nature of the forums usually means those wrong answers get called out quickly.

AI systems have no such feedback loop. None of the current systems is setup to learn from their mistakes as it would require a constant re-training with revised data, which is not feasible.

@DennisV - I also recently find myself working in the LLM / Agentic space, so I appreciate what goes into creating an agent like this. Thank you for sharing your experiment with us.
