I've got a set of Grant rings from EMW for my JE 96mm pistions (1.5x1.75x4.0) and I'm getting cold feet. The don't seem to have the best reputation in a Type 4, at least from 23 years ago on Pelican.
I didn't find a Hastings or Deves ring pack that matched my ring width. I've written Total Seal, Hastings, and Deves looking for their opinion. Now I'm asking your opinions... Lay it on me. |

I've always just purchased the rings from J.E.
Might e-mail them for suggestions. L.N. themselves are another I'd ask. I think Raby had issues with making gapless rings work; I might be wrong... |
